Meet your guide, Brian Moorhead

Kiteboardaitutaki.com was formed after two trips to Aitutaki in 2008 and operated a successful 2009 season (see our video).

Great kiteboarding in a spectacularly beautiful lagoon, fresh papaya, happy smiling locals, water like warm velvet, swimming and snorkelling ... just too good to pass up.

I'm a marine zoologist by training, been an eco-tour operator in New Zealand, currently a commercial photographer and photo library operator.

A windsurfer and diver from way back, I started kiting in 2005, now play on North Rebels and a Bang 136, and I'm keen to 'ditch that wetsuit!'

We want others to be able to enjoy the great sailing and have a relaxing holiday without having to worry about anything ... so we've organized a package deal.

We're committed to friendly, hassle-free kiteboarding holidays for small groups in what we think is one of the best locations anywhere on the planet — only 5 hours from Auckland!

We've set up kiteboardaitutaki.com as a trading division of Focus New Zealand Photo Library Limited which has been in operation more than twenty years.
